Watch All NHL Live Streaming 07 November 2009

Imagine the thrill of being able to take your 7-year-old, hockey-playing son or daughter to the Hockey Hall of Fame here and having them sit less than 10 feet from one of the greatest players in the history of the game, Bobby Hull, and have him share with them recollections of his career and his advice and opinions on how to play the game.

Hull is in Toronto to share the Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Weekend with his son Brett, who will be inducted Monday along with Steve Yzerman, Luc Robitaille, Brian Leetch and Lou Lamoriello.

Brett and Bobby Hull are the only father-and-son combination to play in the NHL and be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Bobby Hull said he is enormously proud of his son and proud for his family.

"It was one thing to have a career that spanned 23 years professionally, as I did," Bobby Hull said. "But to have your kid come along and play the game the way Brett Hull played it and accomplish what he accomplished, playing the game the proper way and becoming the third-highest scorer in the history of the game, it is elating to me to be able to join him this weekend to go in the Hall of Fame, to be the only father and son, of any sport I think, in the Hall of Fame."

Hull was asked how he felt about his family joining the Patricks as the only multi-generational family members in the Hockey Hall of Fame and he beamed.

Tampa Bay at Philadelphia Live NHL Streaming

After dismal finishes the past two seasons, the Tampa Bay Lightning have showed promise in 2009-10, although they are struggling away from home once again.

The Lightning have had plenty of success on the road against the inconsistent Philadelphia Flyers and will try to continue it Monday night in the opener of a four-game trip.

Tampa Bay finished last in the Southeast Division for the second straight season in 2008-09 and had one of the league's worst road records at 12-22-7. The Lightning were an NHL-worst 11-24-6 away from home the previous season.

Following a slow start to 2009-10, Tampa Bay (4-3-4) went 4-0-2 on its just-completed homestand. The Lightning concluded the stretch with a 2-1 shootout loss to New Jersey on Saturday.

Steven Stamkos tied it in the third period by scoring in his fifth straight game, recording his team-leading 10th goal. Martin St. Louis assisted for his 600th career point and extended his season-opening point streak to 11 games.

Stamkos, however, was one of four shooters that failed to score in the shootout. Tampa Bay has not scored in 14 attempts this season and has suffered four shootout defeats.

One of those losses came in the season's second game at Carolina and represented their best chance for a victory away from home.

Watch All NHL Matches Ottawa Senators vs Tampa Bay Lightning : Washington Capitals vs Atlanta Thrashers

Can the Coyotes keep their solid start going? And can the Rangers get out of a funk that's seen them lose three in a row? First of two meetings this season between these teams. The Rangers came away with a 4-1 victory against the Coyotes in their only matchup last season.

L.A. snapped the Coyotes' four-game winning streak with a 5-3 victory Saturday. Overall it's been a surprisingly effective start to the season, but coach Dave Tippett wasn't happy with his team's performance against the Kings. "We made some mental mistakes that come back to haunt you," Tippett told the Arizona Republic. "You can't give up four goals (the fifth was an empty-netter). Mental mistakes led to power-play goals against. We just need everybody on board every night. We had some guys that I didn't think pulled their weight tonight."

Boston Bruins vs Ottawa Senators Live NHL

Boston Bruins vs Ottawa Senators NHL October 24 2009 preview (nhl.com) :
The Northeast Division rivals meet for the first time this season — in fact, it’s the Bruins’ first game within their own division. Boston won the first five of last season’s six games before Ottawa’s 3-2 home win on the last Tuesday of the season. The Bruins have won nine of the last 11 meetings since the start of 2008. Inconsistency has been the one constant with the Bruins this season — they’ve alternated in a lose-one, win-one pattern since opening night. Their task got harder this week when No. 1 center Marc Savard and top-six forward Milan Lucic both went down with injuries that will keep them out for an extended period. So far, they’ve done a good job rising to the task — Boston beat Nashville on Wednesday and got a point in a 4-3 shootout loss at Philadelphia on Thursday. The Senators had won five out of six before Thursday’s wild 6-5 overtime loss to Nashville. Ottawa trailed 3-0 entering the third period, forced overtime and capped a five-goal eruption when Chris Phillips scored a shorthanded goal with 1.6 seconds left in regulation, but lost in OT. The Bruins ran away with the division title in 2008-09, but this season has been a struggle from the start — and it’s going to get tougher without two of their big guns. Thursday’s shoot-’em-up with the Predators was a very out-of-character game for the Senators, who had allowed two goals or fewer in five of their first seven games. Newcomer Steve Begin, signed as a free agent this summer, has contributed goals in back-to-back games forthe Bruins
